Music Extravaganza was originally for the Yeovil Boys Brigade Carnival Club, but to make up the cast members of the newly formed Motiv8 Carnival Club joined in.

The whole show took six months to rehears and was performed in front of a packed house on the 9 December 2000.

The show was recorded by Galaxy Television  for free so the proceeds of the sale of video cassettes would raise extra money for them.
